Netflix-like Android app source code. The Home, profiles and player viewers already know.

Short answer

EasyCine is original native Android source code with the Netflix-style patterns viewers know: a featured slider, Top 10, Continue watching, up to 5 profiles with Kids and PIN, and a Media3 player. It runs on phones, tablets and Android TV, from $1,999 one-time, and is not affiliated with Netflix.

What viewers recognise

The patterns that make it feel familiar.

  • Slider, rows and Top 10

A featured slider, Top 10, Continue watching and Because you watched rows built from each profile's history.

  • Who's watching?

Up to five profiles per account, Kids profiles, a parental PIN and fingerprint or face unlock.

  • Title pages with depth

Trailers, cast pages, more like this, collections, and every season with its episodes.

  • A player that remembers

Resume where you stopped, Up next autoplay, audio and subtitle tracks, speed and picture-in-picture.

  • Downloads and Chromecast

Offline viewing on the phone app, and casting that carries downloads and their subtitles to the TV.

  • A Home viewers can edit

Viewers reorder and hide their own rows. You set the defaults from the panel.

On the big screen

The same feel on Android TV.

The Complete plan adds a native Android TV app built for the remote: a hero with rows, Top 10, Continue watching, profiles with Kids and PIN, and voice search. In Links and Panel mode, viewers sign in by scanning a QR code with their phone instead of typing with a D-pad.

It passes Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and Atmos through to the sound system and decodes TrueHD and DTS in the app. Already on the Mobile plan? The TV add-on brings it in for $1,199.

Behind the screen

You decide what Home shows.

  • Featured slider

Pick the titles and artwork that open Home.

  • Your own sections

Build rows from titles you choose and drag them into order.

  • Preset rows

Show, hide and reorder built-in rows such as Top 10 and Popular.

  • No app update needed

Changes reach the phone and TV apps without a new release.

Netflix-style, not Netflix.

EasyCine borrows familiar patterns, not Netflix's brand, and isn't affiliated with it. Nothing to watch comes in the box: you add titles and streams you hold the rights to.

Netflix-style questions.

Is EasyCine affiliated with Netflix?

No. It's original source code that follows familiar streaming patterns: rows, profiles and a full-screen player. Your name, colours and catalogue replace everything else.

What will my app show at launch?

That depends on the mode. Tracker mode (watch tracker) shows the TMDB catalogue with no streams, Links mode adds your licensed links to TMDB titles, and Panel mode runs your own catalogue.

How does Because you watched work?

It takes the title a profile watched most recently and fills the row with TMDB's recommendations for it. There's no AI engine behind it, and the row isn't used in Panel mode.

Can I change the look?

Yes. The Builder's Your app step sets the name, icon, colours, logo and TV banner with a live preview, and you can undo any change.

Is the Android TV app included?

It's in the Complete plan at $2,999. Mobile plan owners can add it later with the TV add-on at $1,199.

Can viewers download titles?

On the phone app, yes, when you allow downloads. Downloads play offline and can be cast with their subtitles. The Android TV app streams only.
